Guy Jaffe, MBA received his undergraduate degree in business administration from the University of Illinois in Champaign and his MBA from Washington University in St. Louis. He had a successful career developing and managing commercial real estate as president of Pan American Realty Corporation. At one time, Mr. Jaffe served as Director of Community and Economic Development for the state of Missouri. He currently serves as a director of Metropolitan Capital Bancorp in Chicago.
Mr. Jaffe holds real estate broker’s licenses in both Missouri and Illinois and is designated as an approved PACE program sponsor by the Academy of General Dentistry. He is a member of The Practice Valuation Study Group. In January 1996, Mr. Jaffe was a founding member of American Dental Sales (ADS). Today, ADS is the largest network of independent brokers and appraisers in the United States, and Mr. Jaffe is past president.
Peter J. Ackerman, CPA is a graduate of Miami University in Oxford, Ohio with degrees in Accounting, General Business and Finance. He began his career in private accounting at Lane Industries, Northbrook, IL a holding company over such organizations as General Binding Company, Lane Hotels, Lane Aviation, Secret Communication and several other subsidiaries. In 1996 after earning his Certified Public Accountant designation Mr. Ackerman became a principle in ADS Midwest.
He is a member of and past President of ADS, a licensed real estate broker, a licensed business broker, and a member of Practice Valuation Study Group. Each year Mr. Ackerman lectures to dental audiences, residency classes, dental district meetings, continuing education courses and other dental society functions throughout the Midwest and United States.
James Clark, DDS, retired, is the representative for ADS Midwest-Iowa Office. Dr. Clark, a life member of the American Dental Association, previously had a private practice in Dubuque, Iowa. He was formerly the 10th District Trustee of the American Dental Association, representing the states of Iowa, Minnesota, Nebraska, North Dakota and South Dakota.
Dr. Clark also holds the distinction of being the Past President of the American Society of Dentistry for Children, and he was also the 1992 recipient of the Dental Alumnus of the Year Award from the University of Iowa. Dr Clark has been a leader in organized dentistry on the national, state, and local levels. Dr. Clark is a licensed real estate agent in the state of Iowa.
Judy Jaffe works with Guy Jaffe in the St. Louis office of The Dental Marketplace. Previously, Mrs. Jaffe was a Regional Sales Manager for the largest optical company in the United States. She is a member of the Practice Valuation Study Group. Along with Guy Jaffe, she lectures to dental residency classes, senior dental students, continuing education courses, dental district meetings and other dental society functions.
